The lose of Tim Briggen

Postby otlimit » Sat Jul 21, 2007 5:21 pm

These are copies of some of the posting I have read or wrote on this topic:

It is with a very heavy heart I have to let you know that I lost a
friend, crew member, fellow driver, and a part of the SIR family
last
night.

Tim Briggen passed away last night. Bill, and Julia and the whole
family will need our support to help them get through this. Please
send you thoughts and prayers, I'll send more information when it's
available.

We must celebrate his life and the time we had with him. I just
don't
know what to say right now.

Timmy shared his joy and kindness at all of our SCCA gatherings and
races. Let's continue to emulate those qualities at our gatherings to
keep him in our memories.

Thought I would pass this a long to everyone. Tim Briggen's funeral arrangements. Location is Kutis Funeral Home. 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Visitation, Monday, July, 23 from 3-9 PM. Funeral service will be on July 24, and will start at 9 AM.

Bob Briggen

Dear friends,

Many of you know my son Tim from his being active in the SCCA with my
brother Bob and myself. He raced against some of you, played in the club
with some of you. Most of you watched him grow thru the teenage years and
marriage.

It is with a very sad heart that I must tell everyone of Tim's death. Tim
committed suicide last night at his home, July 20,2007. I do not have the
arrangements made at this point but will have Bob post them on the So. Il.
scca web site. The plan at this point is to have him laid out on Monday
with the funeral on Tuesday, pending the arrangements with the funeral
parlor.
