I'm in Fayetteville. Who else is in NWA? I'm just getting started and looking for some others with same interests.

Howdy Ozark,

I'm not exactly in NWA but pretty near... Springfield. I too am also just getting started. Recently bought an '83 RX7. First driving school weekend of 7/19 in Topeka. Will race in some COMMA events at Hallett in August, September, October. Second driving school in November in Memphis. Will you be autocrossing, road racing, other? Do ya have a car yet? Stay in touch...

Be careful on baseing your plans on the Memphis school in Nov. They've been known to cancel it. My brother planned on attending it last year, but it was cancelled as early as Sept. I believe.

You could do a Stephens Brothers School at Hallet, but I'm not sure if that can count as your second school. Lots of awsome track time with the Stephans Bros.

Good luck at Topeka.

I'm a new "retread" in Cedarville. I'm shopping for a SM for early spring driving schools. I might rent, I might buy, can't decide.
Does anyone know the probable schedule for early Midwest and Texas DS?
Doesn't Lone Star Region have an early Jan and early March school at TWS? And Gateway late March? Any others within 400 miles of NWA? - Jim

Gateway is a good way to get your required schools out of the way in a weekend with a lot of track time. It's usually in late March. Last year it snowed on us! so be prepared for anything.

If you haven't found a car to rent let me know. My RX7 will be available for rent. rwwsar@yahoo.com
