’21 RallyCross National Tour Dates Announced
“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” That’s the famous line delivered by Dr. Emmett Brown in the movie “Back to the Future” — and it certainly pertains to SCCA’s most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme dirt motorsport, RallyCross.
In 2021, the RallyCross National Tour will make four stops around the country before the season-ending RallyCross National Championship taking place Oct. 15-17 at Ross County Fairgrounds in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Schedules are always subject to change, but the current 2021 RallyCross National Tour calendar is as follows:
– April 23-25: St. Louis Region – near World Wide Technology Raceway; Granite City, IL.
– June 12-13: East Tennessee Region – Frazier Motorsports Park; Frazier Motorsports Park; Tazwell, TN.
– Early August (dates TBA): San Francisco Region – Thunderhill Raceway Park; Thunderhill Raceway Park; Willows, CA.
– September 3-5: Milwaukee Region – Byron Motorsports Park; Byron Motorsports Park; Byron, IL.
The schedule above may seem a little mysterious because a couple “specifics” are missing. But we’ll do our best to create clarity here. First, April’s St. Louis event in Granite City, Illinois, will take place near World Wide Technology Raceway, but not on raceway grounds. Technically, the competition field is located at 50 Big Bend Road in Granite City, but participants will receive further instructions about the location when they register for the event.
