Mark Hill, Kansas Region, and Timothy Thompson, Wichita Region, both scored National Championship victories at the RallyCross Nationals Oct. 17-19 in Hollytree, AL.
For Hill, it is his sixth championship aboard his trusty Mitsubishi Evo IX. He won his Prepared AWD class of nine cars by 30.737 sec after a 12-lap drive in the dirt across the three days of competition.
For Thompson, it is his third victory driving a Ford Focus in the Stocl AWD class, winning a seven-car class by 16.375 sec. over his 12-lap run.
