Memo from Bill Johnson:
It is very disappointing but KVRG has decided to cancel the event at Hedge Hollow scheduled for May 11/12.
A lot of issues but in the end we could not get an amicable contract with the track in the short time before the event. At this time the event is not being rescheduled but we are keeping our options open in hopes something can be worked out in the future that satisfies all parties.
The race track itself is fabulous and offers a lot of options for events for our members. Dealings with the track have all been positive, we are just out of time to get all of the details with the track and the multiple groups involved worked out.
Appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for what we were trying to do, it would have been a very special event. Hopefully down the road we can make it happen. Also appreciate the tracks willingness to work with us and continue to pursue options for the future.
